My delicious Sweet Potatoes and local red oil sauce

Greetings lovelies in this great community and lovers of #plantbased foods, how are we all doing, its quite a while now, my phone has been faulty and am grateful its has been restored back. I think this is my first post here for the year, in all i thankful for another opportunity for being here and you all are welcome to @amara24 blog.

My hubby was hungry, lost of what to cook, i entered the kitchen, looked around and I saw some sweet potatoes i bought from the market, mind you he loves eating potatoes when prepared with red oil sauce, so without thinking it twice i starts to prepare it for him and beside it's very simple and doesn't consume much time to prepare.

So my beautiful friends join me as i direct on step to steps on how i prepared this delicious and sweet potato and red oil sauce recipe.

INGREDIENTS

3 potatoes
4 onions
3 tbsp of pepper mixed
4 tbsp of red oil
1 tbsp of salt

First i peeled the potatoes, cut to my desired size, then add clean water to the pot to cook.

Next i water the potatoes, add it to the pot, then all to cook for 15minutes till its tender to eat.

Now here is how i prepared the sauce for the potatoes, first i peel the onions, wash, cut in small sizes and pound in the mortar.

After pounding the onions, I add the pepper mix, add salt, then add red oil and mixed them together.

Here our sweet and delicious Potatoes and local red oil sauce is ready to be served, no additives, its just natural, it tastes so great most especially when eaten directly from the mortar, i don't know if anyone had that experience.😆
