Hello The City of Neoxian Community! Welcome to my blog.
Today, I have decided to participate in Neoxian City Prompt. Here is the key theme I have followed in the prescribed story.
"As the sun rose on the horizon, it became clear what had happened."

Story:

Zahra got up by screaming of her son, sleeping near to her in the camp.

Zahra to her 8 years old son:What happened to my lifeline? Is piece of my heart fine?

Her Son (murmuring): Mommy, there is something want to press me.

Zahra (Her Heart thumping fast): My son, open your eyes there is nothing to press you. In the camp, I and you are only.

Her Son pointing towards Sky (With half breath and Sweating) : Mommy! No there is something! Dark dark dark.

It was midnight and the sky was partially dark because there was sun light. There was air blowing from the grass and palm trees. The air sound was adding into his fears

Zahra takes glass of water and removed blanket from the body of her son : Please, my life takes this glass of water and everything will be fine.

Her Son with half opened Eyes: Mommy, I 'm frightened from this darkness. It wants to kill me. Screaming again! Mommy please keeps me away from this darkness. This whole sky will fell upon me.

Zahra who was looking more tens, started finding light source. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could bring a small ray of light for her son to remove the fears of darkness.

Zahra hugged to her son : Wait, wait! Let me remove this darkness from your eyes and everything will be fine.

Zahra noticed about her son. Her son was frightened about the darky night and didn't know that it is normal. Now, he came to realize the real problem.

Zahra (Striving to divert attention of her son) : My Son listen me, our earth is resolving around the sun. Moreover, it is also busy in its rotation. During its rotation, when it's any part faces sun, it happened day there with sun's light and the other opposite part which is away from sun light, there happened night.

Her Son (controlling nerves and paying more attention to his mother): Mommy, then why are daily nights and days come regularly?

Her son mind is struck in darkness. It looked that he is busy in thinking how can he cancel Earth's dark period.

Zahra responded : Son, it took 12 hours by our earth to change its direction around the sun. Hence, it took 12 hours for a day to turn into night and night takes 12 hours to turn into day.

This conversation continued. Time passed fast. Her son was getting learning and most of the fears in his mind were disappearing.

Zahra pointing towards East: Son Look! Look towards horizon, there is a rise of sun. Your darkness is no more with us. You can see the clear trees and mountains in front of sun. Sun light cleared this horizon for us. It is Mighty Sun, Powerful Light Source.

Zahra was happy and excited. I praised her efforts. She indeed tackle the situation like a good mother.

Her Son :**Mommy, my fears answered here. It was normal night. The darkness made impossible to see the trees and darkness. Thank you Sun whose light makes clear the horizon. **

Zahra left her camp. She and her son started their routine work. Like dark night, this story finished.

Above story is the same story I have faced in my childhood. It was knowledge that changed my faded thoughts about darkness. Now, I 'm more clear about the rotation of earth and clearance of sun. Although, my physics was not so nice but I got many answered about all fears that were my problems in my childhood. Our earth rotation plays a key role in day and night cycle. Sun's light make our horizon more clear.
