My New Foodxperiment With Tempeh And Curry Spices

Hello everyone,
It's a good day to make some food for my husband and family member, because he loves more food that I make in my kitchen, of course, i bored to eat some breast chicken intake my protein daily. Oh ya! today I want to make an interesting meal that is high in protein, because this day, I'm leg training and I need a lot of protein to restore my energy and muscle growth. Leg training is the best choice for me to control blood sugar in my body.

Recently, the price of soya beans have become expensive, now tempeh an expensive food commodity, although it can still be bought at a cheap price, but the size is quite small, it so small before i buy 3 month ago. Soya beans are the main ingredient for make tempeh, one of my friends is someone who makes tempeh and sells it in the market, he likes to complain about it.


A New Experiment

I think tempeh is one of the ingredient that is delicious cooking in any way, but my husband doesn't like tempeh, especially if it's just boiled and give a little salt. For now, we are avoiding deep frying tempeh. So, I always think about the best way to process tempeh into delicious food and various cooking variations. I thought of something, making tempeh into satay, I thought that was a good thing.

My husband really likes satay, whatever kind. He is a fan of satay who buys satay almost every week, so it looks like satay is one of the things I want to make for lunch today, and you know, it really succeeded in making my husband eat very well.


Tempeh Satay With Curry Spices
The Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of non-GMO Tempeh
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • Half of onions
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 pack of curry spices
  • 1 of leeks
  • Water for boiling

How to Make Tempeh Satay With Curry Spices:

  • I use onion and leeks for fiber, put it in the tempeh satay mixture but before you have to slice and prepare all the ingredients.

  • Boil water to make the tempeh satay come together. While waiting for the boiling water, crush 1 pack of tempeh and spices. Combine all ingredients such as; tempeh, chili flakes, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cornstarch, leeks and onion. Puree with a blender or use your hand with a small stone like crushing powdered oral medication.

  • Stick it on a satay skewer, then boil for 5 minutes. After that, apply curry powder with a little water so that it is easy to spread on the surface of the tempeh satay which will then be toasted on the wokpan.

Hah? Oh ya, tempeh is one of food product Indonesia. its made from soya and yeast, need 24 hour to mature.
