Hanging out in the Lotus shopping mall

This is my first post joining the CCH community. I am a Thai living in Phuket, Thailand. I am a housewife and share stories in life on Hive.

Yesterday I had to get up early and finish cleaning the house before 9 am. because my husband has an appointment to renew his motorcycle and car license at the Provincial Transport Office and I have to follow along.

Renewing a motorcycle and car license from 2 years to 5 years in Thailand can be done simply by completing online driving license training 2022 via the DLT e-learning system. It takes 1 hour to watch a video and when you answer correctly, you will receive a message confirming the training has passed and make an appointment to go to the next driving license step.

When my husband finished his driving license and before going home, we stopped at Lotus shopping mall to run some errands. So I took the opportunity when my husband was running errands walk to see various products inside the lotus mall. I kept walking without thinking of buying anything. But if I like it, I bought it without thinking either.🤣

สวัสดีคร้าาาาาา..... วันนี้ต้องตื่นแต่เช้า ซึ่งปกติบัวก็ตื่นเช้าอยู่แล้ว รีบทำงานบ้านให้เสร็จก่อน 9 โมงเช้า เพราะสาต้องไปต่ออายุใบอนุญาตขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์และรถยนต์ที่สำนักงานขนส่งจังหวัด บัวก็ต้องติดสอยห้อยตามไปด้วย ซึ่งการต่ออายุใบขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์และรถยนต์จาก 2 ปี เป็น 5 ปีในประเทศไทยนั้นก็ง่ายๆ เหมือนปอกกล้วยเข้าปากเลยคร้าาาาา.... สามารถทำได้ง่ายๆ เพียงรับชมวิดีโออบรมใบขับขี่ออนไลน์ 2022 ผ่านระบบ DLT e-learning ใช้เวลา 1 ชั่วโมงในการดูวิดีโอ ก่อนดูก็จะมีให้ตอบคำถาม และระหว่างที่ดูก็จะคำถามเหมือนกัน เมื่อตอบถูกวิดีโอก็จะเล่นต่อ จากนั้นก็ดูต่อให้จบ และเมื่อวิดีโอจบแล้วก็จะเป็นการตอบคำถาม ชุดคำถามก็จะเป็นชุดเดิมตั้งแต่ก่อนดูวิดีโอ และระหว่างดูวิดีโอเลยค่ะคำถามเดียวกันแป๊ะ หลังจากนั้นก็บันทึกหน้าจอผลการอบรม และจองคิวออนไลน์นัดหมายเพื่อไปทำใบขับขี่ครั้งต่อไปจ้าาาาา....

หลังจากที่สาทำใบขับขี่เสร็จแล้วซึ่งใช้เวลาไม่นาน ก่อนกลับบ้านเราแวะที่โลตัสเพื่อทำธุระ บัวเลยถือโอกาสนี้ตอนที่สาไปทำธุระเดินดูสินค้าต่างๆ ภายในห้างโลตัส ก็เดินดูไปเรื่อยๆ โดยไม่คิดจะซื้ออะไรเลย แต่ถ้าชอบก็ซื้อแบบไม่คิดอะไร 555

Eh! or am I going to buy it for my use? Let's say I've young.🤣🤣

เอ๊ะ! หรือบัวจะซื้อไปใช้เอง? สมมุติว่าตัวเองยังเด็ก (บัวสต๊าฟไว้ตั้งแต่อายุ 12 ขวบ ความเด็กหรือ เปล้าาาาา.... สมอง 5555)

During this time, no matter where you go, the shop is quiet. There are not many customers.

I stopped walking and looked into a swimsuit shop and decided to walk into the store without hesitation. How long has it been since I've gone swimming? When was the last time I went swimming? Even though the beach is only a few kilometers from my house. So I immediately decided to bought a swimsuit and hope to go swimming soon.

บัวเดินไปหยุดที่หน้าร้านขายชุดว่ายน้ำ และเดินเข้าไปในร้านแบบไม่ลังเลเลย และคิดว่านานแค่ไหนแล้วที่ไม่ได้ไปว่ายน้ำทะเล ครั้งสุดท้ายไปมาเมื่อไหร่ ทั้งๆ ที่บ้านแทบจะเปิดประตูมาก็เจอทะเลเลย ก็อย่างว่าแหล่ะค่ะใกล้เกลือกินด่าง ไม่ค่อยเห็นคุณค่า 555 บัวก็เลยตัดสินใจสอยมา 1 ชุด และหวังว่าสาคงจะพาไปว่ายน้ำเร็วๆ นี้

After buying my swimwear, I walked straight to the shoe store. I'm interested in sneakers because they're more comfortable to wear when driving than high heels. So I bought another pair of sneakers (I really didn't want to buy anything).😜

หลังจากที่บัวสอยชุดว่ายน้ำมา 1 ชุดแล้ว ก็เดินปรี่เข้าไปในร้านขายรองเท้าทันที บัวชอบใส่รองเท้าผ้าใบเวลาขับรถยนต์ เพราะมันสบายและทมัดทแมงกว่าใส่รองเท้าส้นสูงเยอะ ก็เลยสอยรองเท้าผ้าใบมาอีกคู่ (แหม่!!!....ไม่ได้ตั้งใจจะมาซื้ออะไรจริ๊งงงงง....555)

When my husband finished his errands, we went to look at the food in case there was something to eat.

เมื่อสาทำธุระปะปังเสร็จ ก็เลยเดินไปดูของกินว่าพอมีอะไรน่ากินไหม๊

This is Toddy Palm Cake. It's steaming hot. It smells good. I remember when I was a kid, my mom would only make this kind of cake on the days of making merit at the temple. We can eat only on important Buddhist days.

ขนมตาลนึ่งร้อนๆ เลย กลิ่นหอยโชยมาเตะจมูกอย่างจัง บัวจำได้ว่าตอนเด็กๆ แม่จะทำขนมตาลนี้ไปทำบุญที่วัด แล้วต้องเป็นบุญใหญ่ด้วยนะ เช่น เข้าพรรษา หรือออกพรรษา จะได้กินขนมตาลก็ต้องวันสำคัญๆ แบบนี้แหล่ะถึงจะได้กิน

On that day, I will be able to eat a lot of Thai desserts because everyone makes desserts to make merit at the temple.

วันนั้นบัวก็จะอิ่มจุกๆ เป็นพิเศษ เพราะใครๆ ก็ทำขนมมาทำบุญที่วัด ก่อนกลับบ้านขนมที่พระฉันไม่หมด เราก็จะได้รับอานิสงแบบจุก นำกลับไปกินต่อที่บ้าน

This is a pancake, probably only in Thailand or not, I'm not sure. Inside there will be various fillings many to choose from.

ส่วนนี่เป็นยำขนมจีน เครื่องแน่นๆ ปลากรอบเน้นๆ แต่บัวไม่ได้ซื้อหรอกนะ เพราะเคยซื้อหลายเจ้าแล้วผิดหวัง กินได้คำสองคำก็เททิ้ง ก็เลยไม่กล้าซื้อกิน เจ้านี้อาจจะอร่อยก็ได้ แต่เคยผิดหวังอยู่บ่อยๆ ก็เลยไม่กล้าเริ่มต้นใหม่
