Battling against himself - MYCELIC MORPHOID

This is my entry post for the challenge "SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! MYCELIC MORPHOID" organized by splinterlands. You can participate in this challenge even if you do not have theme cards.

In this post I want to change my writing style. Please give suggestion for my new style.

MYCELIC MORPHOID

MYCELIC MORPHOID is a monster card of Chaos Legion. This is a common card and it is not very useful in normal time. But every card has it value. You can summon MYCELIC MORPHOID with a minimal mana cost [1]. I will say it is free if it is a zero mana card so One mana cost means minimal mana cost.

It has two [Health], one point of [Speed], and one [Melee Damage]. It also has [Thorns] ability. It is neaRly useless in normal circumstances.

It can be used in following ruleset:

• Reverse Speed
• Equalizer
• Lost Magic
• Armor up

It can also be use in following ruleset though it is less effective:

• Supersneak
• Melee Mayhem
• Up Close and Personal

For me I would like to use this card in the battle with [Equalizer] rule set. It does not have the abiliities to withstand the barrage of enemy attacks so I would like to support with a healer behind it. I also want to add some support monster cards for it. These cards are QUEEN MYCELIA and SCAVO HIRELING. Survival is top priority for him so I will added Armor and {Repairt] ability to support this card.

Rule Set:

• Equalizer - The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.
• Melee Mayhem - Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position.

Daria Dragonscale

Daria Dragonscale is a summoner card from Reward Edition. He can increase melee damage of his summon monsters by 1. I chose him as a summoner because I wanted to increase melee damage of my monsters as much as possible.

Furious Chicken

I chose Furious CHicken in first position because I want to keep MYCELIC MORPHOID for a long time. I do not want him to die very quickly as he is a role player for this battle.

MYCELIC MORPHOID

This monster card is the role player of this battle. He has [Thorns] ability that why I put him in second position. He will conter=play my opponent's attacks with [Thorns] ability. When their [Health] are low I will crush them.
Thorns : When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker

Rexxie

I chose him in third position because I need a killer machine. He will serve as a finisher because he has [Trample] ability.
Trample : When a Monster with Trample hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on the next Monster on the enemy Team

QUEEN MYCELIA

I chosed QUEEN MYCELIA in fourth position because I want to support MYCELIC MORPHOID with an [Armor]. He did not have the ability like [Shield] or [Void] so he will die very quickly if he did not have [Armor]. MYCELIC MORPHOID is the best ally for MYCELIC MORPHOID because she also has [Amplify] ability.But sadly I do not have level 2 QUEEN MYCELIA.
Protect : All friendly Monsters gain +2 Armor
Amplify : ncreases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy monsters by 1

GOBLIN PSYCHIC

I chose this monster card in fifth position because he is a healing monster so he should not be put in the front too much. He has [Tank Heal] and [Affliction] ability. This can prevent my opponent's monsters from all type of healing.
Tank Heal : Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round
Affliction : When a Monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed.

SCAVO HIRELING

I chose SCAVO HIRELING as a last position monster. This monster is a must have monster for this battle. I chose QUEEN MYCELIA to provide [Armor] for all my friendly monsters then SCAVO HIRELING will repair their [Armors]. [Thorns] + [Amplify} + {Repair] is the perfect combination to counter the melee attackers.
Repair : Restores some armor to the friendly Monster whose armor has taken the most damage

Battle History

Round 1 - This is a 1-1 trade but it worths it. I traded my Furious Chicken with his Fresh Golem. I also give two damage to his MYCELIC MORPHOID. This is the work of my MYCELIC MORPHOID. Battle goes on as I planned.

Round 2 - His Screeching Vulture died but my MYCELIC MORPHOID only lose half of his [Health]. All of his monsters except Goblin Mech got injuries. Rex deals a great amount of damage. He is a natural born killer.

Round 3 - MYCELIC MORPHOID has died and Rexxie is in trouble. Gobline Mech [Stun] continuously. He broke my heart. I will lose if this thing goes on. LUckily Goblin Mech almost die.

Round 4 - Rexxie has died. He can not even retaliate because of continous [Stun] of Goblin Mech. Finally I only have 3 monsters left but Goblin Mech is almost fall. My chance will come soon.

Round 5 - Nothing left to say. After Goblin Mech fall, the damage of his remaining monsters can barely break my [Armor]. I also have a healing monster in my team. So his doom is for sure.

Fianl Thought - The battle has to finish very soon. Victory is upon me. There is no unbeatable monster in SL. Sometimes you may win. Sometimes you may lose. But the battles wil go on forever until the day.............
