BDC CONTEST-Not a Penny More Not a Penny Less
This is my entry post for the contest Your Favourite Book(s) from Childhood by @bdc-shorts.
So I would like to share my favourite book from Childhood. But this is not a english version. This is just a translated book. Author author is Jeffery Archer and the name of the book is Not a Penny More Not a Penny Less. In myanmar version the use the same meaning. No twist title is using.
This is an interesting book. This is the stroy of four men that is cheated by the con man. They got informations from the company's agent about his company discovered Oil in the tract they got license to explore. So they think that they will become rich then they decided to buy the shares of the comapny that the cheater belonged.
After they bought the share with the money they had, the company scammed exit. They lost all of the money they saved. So they decided to get money back from the cheater. Their name are called Stephen Bradley, Dr Robin Oakley, Jean-Pierre Lamanns and James Brigsley. Their Occupation are an Oxford professor, a revered society physician, a chic French art dealer, and a charming English lord. I do not know England Lord can be considered as an occupation. This may be honorary title.
Their plain is they will use their expertise to cheat them and get their money back.
- Stephen Bradley impresonates as Oxford Officer and gives him honorary degree in exchange for a contribution. This contribution must be in term of money.
- Dr Robin Oakley makes a fake operation and gives him a gallstone and he believes that it is coming out from his abdomen.
- Jean-Pierre Lamanns successfully sells him fake painting of Van Gogh.
- James Brigsley marries to his doughter. They got wedding cheque from him. After ransacking his green house for wedding flowers they got their meney back.
Now I will write about the Con man they are chasing. His name is Harvey Metcalfe and getting rich by many dishonet means. He becomes a millionaire in 1960s. Taking advantageous of Bittish Government allowing companies to explore in North Sea he creates Prospecta Oil, a paper company. His intentions to steal money from investors. His agents is David Kesler an Harvard MBA> Harvey uses David Kesler to lure investors to his company. After selling nearly all of his shares, he took all money and left British. After he left the company the price of shares plummet and becom worthless. The money he took from four men is exactly one million.
After gettina all of their money, they feel relax. But this is not the End. At that time they heard a new that a new company BP(BP is a famous Brithsh company in real life) discoverd Oil in tract that is next to the tract owned by Prospecta Oil. So naturally the price of their shares go up, The price of their shares worth more than one million. After that Stephen proposes they figure out how to give the stolen million back
Why do I like this novel?
This is because of final part of novel. They will give back Harvey's meny but they will not let him know. There will be anoter sheme. They do not care about the money. They only care about the justice. I can feel like they all are real men. There is no reason to keep Harvey's money because they got their money back as the price of share go up.

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. People are going to want you dead when they find out what you did. I hope you die a slow painful death. You sick mother fuckers.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
