Doesn't it sometimes happen to you that when you go for a walk you come across flowers or plants with super beautiful and striking colors? A few days ago is what happened to me, I found a plant that when I saw its colors I could not help taking pictures of it because in its leaves you could appreciate the beautiful combination of orange, red and yellow colors just like a sunset.

Searching a little about why this type of color occurs in the leaves of plants I found that the leaves produce different types of pigments such as chlorophyll (which provides the green color) and also produces other pigments such as carotenoids and anthocyanins (are those that provide the yellow, orange, red and purple) So when we find this type of color in plants or leaves means that there is more presence of these pigments other than chlorophyll, which capture light where this green pigment does not reach it to do.

I also came across other little flowers that many of us have seen before, but I really liked them for their vibrant colors so here I share them with you. Without a doubt my favorites were the first ones, which I baptized as sunset plants 😋 And you, which one did you like the most?

No les pasa a veces que van caminando y se encuentran con flores o plantas con colores super lindos y llamativos? Hace días esto fue lo que me paso, me encontré con una planta la cual al ver sus colores no pude evitar tomarle fotos ya que en sus hojas se podía apreciar la hermosa combinación de los colores naranja, rojo y amarillo tal cual un atardecer.

Buscando un poco sobre porque se da este tipo de colores en las hojas de las plantas encontré que las hojas producen diferentes tipos de pigmentos como lo es la clorofila (La cual aporta el color verde) y también produce otros pigmentos como lo es carotenoides y antocianinas (son los que aportan ese color amarillo, naranja, rojo y morado) Así que cuando nos encontramos este tipo de color en las plantas u hojas significa que hay más presencia de estos pigmentos diferente a la clorofila, los cuales capturan la luz donde este pigmento verde no lo alcanza a hacer.

También me encontré con otras florecitas que ya muchos hemos visto antes, pero me gustaron mucho por sus colores vibrantes así que por aquí se las comparto. Sin duda mis favoritas fueron las primeras, las cuales bauticé como planta del atardecer 😋 y a ti ¿Cuál te gustó más?
