No storm as far as I know but we are getting some pretty cold temps right now. We mulch around our roses every spring as well. I need to do a better job of watering them in the summer. They sit in a bed under our eaves and they don't always get the rain they need.

Mine are in the bright sunshine and I found the ones that get a little more shade look a bit healthier, but, they flower less. Just can't win. :) I see that the storm will be missing you.
How often does that happen? :)
Far too much these days! I think my wife would more than welcome a snow day right about now.
