Brofund Witness Update

In place of our regularly scheduled "Market Musings" by @hetty-rowan, today we're going to give out a much needed witness update about what we're doing on chain to make the ecosystem a much better place. I am not sure if these are regularly done anymore, but I'd at least like to give you guys updates regularly.

Right now we are focusing on working with and diverting & sharing resources with other new and budding projects on the second layer of our chain. Some people may see this as an attempt to gain more influence, but it is more so about "raising the quality" of projects built on the Hive ecosystem. We do this through several avenues:

Hive in a Box

Not to be mixed up with @someguy123's hive-in-a-box which is a premade witness node ready to go, ours is a premade team that will that will drop down and help you iron out the kinks in your project. We look at things such as sustainability, viability, tokenomics and marketing as a way to boost projects into a more profitable situation for both end users and teams. Basically making everything work, rather than never recovering after each hive pump.

Dragon's Den

The idea was taken from popular Channel 4 TV show "Dragon's Den" in the UK where contestants would ask 4-5 millionaires for a slice of their money in return for a share in their business. We hold the exact same format apart from our Dragons are many, and the share you will be offering is a piece of your token share. And like these guys in the video below didn't, please come prepared!!

In return, you'll get help, clarity, and guidance -- but only if your pitch is good. We've yet to see someone come and pitch to us that has us stepping all over each other to buy in.

Venture Capital

@silverstackerUK and myself still fund up and coming projects if the whitepaper is good. If it makes sense. So if Dragons Den is too scary for you then you can always come to us for a bit of start up capital.

Where we are at

We realise this isn't an overnight thing of course. We aren't going to release these services and we're going to be instantaneously hyper efficient, just the same as the services we work with aren't going to overcome their roadblocks either. It will take time to trial, test, and overcome!

Right now all these services have been released to any hiveans that want to use them, but for now we are in the middle of the bear so we aren't expecting anyone to come forth with new and budding ideas right off the bat. It will be a slow, and regular process. But we'll get there.

Next year and forward.

We'll be focusing on grabbing a lot of HP. Lots and lots of it. We realise that governance takes time, and we are focusing on climbing up the influence ladder by collecting more and more hive power. Watch out, we're growing exponentially!
