Splinterlands is a game of Speed

Happy Sunday y'all, it is another week of endless battles and competitions, may the best fighters win!

Splinterlands is a game of speed and he who utilizes this will have more chance at winning than those who depend on just strong cards, it is not always about power, tactics must be applied and rules must be well studied.

I was paired with rainbow-goddess in an Explosive Weaponry rule set i.e all monsters have the blast ability.

I knew the game was going to be rough due to the blast and the monsters that attack first have a higher chance of being victorious so I used a Summoner whose stats gives +2 speed and 3 monsters that have the Swift ability which also adds speed to all monsters in the team.

Watch out for the killer tactics that gave me the win

Conqueror Jacek is the summoner I used and it is well known for his amazing stats but the main reason why he is suitable for this particular battle was for his Scattershot and +2 speed ability, it is a blast rule and the scattershot is needed to spread my monsters attack since it can be predicted the opponent will try to defend his team and the speed is to make sure i attack first!

SERPENTINE SOLDIER

The serpentine soldier is a terrifying beast, so hard to hit because of the dodge ability and speed it possesses, he is the best tank i could come up with and he really did great as the opponent monsters find it so hard to hit him!

ASH MIRAGE

It was a blast rule!, the serpentine is capable of holding the front but what of the second monster that will be affected by the blast, hence why I use ash mirage with the reflection shield no matter the opponent kind of attack, it won't be affected by any blast unless the attack was targetted at him.

GOBLIN SHAMAN

The Shaman possesses the slow ability, so it was used to slow down the opponent monster's speed, it also possesses weaken that reduces the opponent monster's health by -1.

FLAME IMP

This was the first monster with the swift ability that I use, it also has a decent magic attack so I expected damage to be done by it too and it performed well.

SUPPLY RUNNER

One of the best advantages of a card being a neutral card is that it can be used in any splinter, one is this supply runner, it is one of my most used monsters and it performs well in battle with its ranged attack.

SPARK PIXIES

The fear of this monster is the beginning of wisdom on Splinterlands, you won't be able to see its picture unless you use the night mode, this is the exact way it is invincible in battles, very hard to hit and that is because of the abilities it possesses, Flying, dodge, and it has high speed as well and these three are designed for other monsters to be having misses.

The opponent keeps missing it and it also uses its stun ability to render the opponent monster useless as the affected monster won't be able to attack that round.

It was a flawless victory as the opponent could not even eliminate any of my monsters.
