Reseña del torneo semanal de Chess Brothers S4T4 "Una carrera cerrada"
Este domingo 29 tuvimos la ronda número cuatro de la temporada. En esta oportunidad jugamos un suizo a 7 rondas cuyo tiempo de reflexión fue de 4+1, un ritmo bastante movido, pues al estar en apuros de tiempo ese segundo adicional, a pesar de que ayuda un poco, muchas veces termina siendo insuficiente y la partida puede concluir a causa de la caída de bandera si el jugador no es lo suficientemente hábil.
Con esta ronda se avanza muchísimo en el desarrollo de la liga, pues nos acercamos al ecuador del evento. Algunos jugadores están ratificando sus puestos en los primeros escalones, mientras que otros continúan batallando de cara al ascenso en la tabla general.
Acerca de Chessable Masters y el Norway Chess
Mientras reportamos los acontecimientos de la liga, no podemos dejar a un lado los acontecimientos ajedrecísticos en pleno desarrollo. Así pues, hace unos pocos días vimos como el GM chino Ding Liren, quien recientemente aseguró su cupo al candidatos, ganó el cuarto torneo del Tour de ajedrez de campeones de Meltwater 2022 tras haber descalificado al campeón mundial en las semifinales y tras vencer en una final de infarto y con muchas dificultades al finalista de 16 años, el GM indio Praggnanandhaa.

También vemos que ya ha dado comienzo el Norway Chess 2022, uno de los más fuertes torneos y nuevamente se juega sobre el tablero. Cuenta con la presencia de tres campeones mundiales (los canónicos Anand y Carlsen y el no canónico Topálov) y por los momentos juegan el torneo blitz que además de decidir el número de blancas en el torneo clásico, también sirve de calentameinto. Los resultados
Volviendo al ajedrez de Hive, en esta ronda de la Liga Chess Brothers, @eniolw (también conocido como milignus en Lichess) conquistó la cúspide al totalizar 6 unidades. En la segunda posición @fcastro177 hizo lo propio igualando el marcador, pero este sucumbió ante el campeón, dejándolo así con un desempate desfavorable. En el tercer lugar, @rosmarly continúa adecuando los primeros puestos y en esta ocasión se lleva el bronce con 5 tantos a tan solo un punto de los líderes.
En la próxima ronda culminamos la primera mitad de la temporada y esperamos seguir viendo esa alta competitividad que los jugadores han mostrado hasta el momento. Muchas partidas quedan por delante.

Momentos interesantes
Demos un vistazo a algunas posiciones destacadas de la ronda 4:
@stayouoftherz vs @lighteye: Las negras deberían sentir el peligro que les acecha.
La posición es un tanto favorable para las blancas por la ventaja de espacio. Sin embargo, aún queda mucho juego por delante y las blancas deben trabajar más para transformar su ventaja.
Desafortunadamente para las negras, han pasado por alto la fuerte amenaza de mate que las blancas han coordinado con la batería dama+alfil. Era necesario reaccionar en el centro con la maniobra c5-c4 y así tratar de desviar la mira de la dama blanca. Las negras con poco cuidado jugaron 16... b5?? y aquí el fuerte avance de las blancas 17. e5 libera la diagonal b1-h7 y no se pueden defender ambas amenazas del caballo y el mate en h7 simultáneamente.
@panboy27 vs @peru4watch: un remate pintoresco, ¿verdad?
Esta posición final de mate es bastante estética. El monarca blanco ha emprendido un trágico viaje sin retorno al hemisferio contrario del tablero en donde las piezas enemigas han concluido con éxito la operación de extracción. Pareciera ser un esquema artístico sacado de algún libro antiguo, pero la realidad es que esto fue el producto de una muy alocada partida en la que ambos bandos volcaron una dinámica desmedida en el despliegue de sus fuerzas. ¡Qué divertido!

Chess Brothers weekly tournament review S4T4 "a close race"
This Sunday 29th we had round number four of the season. This time we played a 7-round Swiss whose thinking time was 4+1, a very busy pace, because being in time trouble that extra second, although it helps a little, often ends up being insufficient and the game can end due to flagging if the player is not skilled enough.
With this round, a lot of progress is being made in the development of the league, as we are approaching the halfway point of the event. Some players are ratifying their positions in the top ranks, while others continue to battle their way up the leaderboard.
About Chessable Masters and Norway Chess
While we report the events of the league, we cannot leave aside the chess events in full swing. Thus, a few days ago we saw how Chinese GM Ding Liren, who recently secured his spot for the candidates, won the fourth tournament of the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour 2022 after disqualifying the world champion in the semi-finals and after beating the 16-year-old Indian GM Praggnanandhaa in a heart-stopping final with many difficulties.

We also see that Norway Chess 2022, one of the strongest tournaments, has already started and is played on the chessboard again. It has the presence of three world champions (the canonical Anand and Carlsen and the non-canonical Topalov) and at the moment they play the blitz tournament that, in addition to deciding the number of whites in the classic tournament, also serves as a warm-up. The results
Returning to Hive chess, in this round of the Chess Brothers League, @eniolw (also known as milignus in Lichess) conquered the top by totaling 6 units. In the second position @fcastro177 did the same by equaling the score, but he succumbed to the champion, leaving him with an unfavorable tiebreaker. In third place, @rosmarly continues to match the first places and this time takes the bronze with 5 goals, just one point behind the leaders.
In the next round we culminate the first half of the season and we hope to continue seeing that high competitiveness that the players have shown so far. There are many games ahead.

Interesting moments
Let's take a look at some notable positions from round 4:
@stayouoftherz vs @lighteye: Las negras deberían sentir el peligro que les acecha.
The position is somewhat favorable for White because of the space advantage. However, there is still a lot of play ahead and White must work harder to transform his advantage.
Unfortunately for Black, he has overlooked the strong mate threat that White has coordinated with the queen+bishop battery. It was necessary to react in the center with the maneuver c5-c4 and thus try to divert the sights of the white queen. Black carelessly played 16.... b5? and here White's strong advance 17. e5 frees the b1-h7 diagonal and both threats of the knight and mate on h7 cannot be defended simultaneously.

I think you may have a mistake in the points count this time. It seems that you have counted only 23 participants instead of 24, who met the three-game requirement – which means that all the participants in this round were deprived of one point respectively. For example, @eniolw should have 49+24=73 points, and not 72.
