HiveHubDEV: A great tool for checking out status of overall activities on the Hive blockchain

To do well in Hive, we need to know what is going on in the Hive blockchain!

In this post, I will be sharing my experience of checking out HiveHubDEV created by this team of dedicated Hive users who has the expertise.

I found it to be a great tool for Hive users, especially when one wants to check out overall activities on the Hive blockchain!

Let's check it out.

The most useful must be the internal market for trading Hive/HBD. Previously, it has only the SWAP service, now the limit buy/sell service is live. That means we can set a target price for our trade. The chart below even shows the Trading View-like interface, and we can apply some trading indicators to help us make decisions.

The trading function is not all. There are also statistics for Hive posts, i.e. behavior for the Hive blockchain that can be telling.

I personally found the Comments statistics on a yearly basis below rather interesting. If comments are an indication of interaction, I am hoping the upward trend between 2020-2022 would continue.

There are also charts that show market transfers, i.e. inflow and outflow of Hive and HBD. For example, the chart below shows the weekly outflow of Hive to the exchanges. One can assume that the outflow is likely to be for selling off, so this can be useful for price prediction to some extent.

Lastly, I also found the power up/down statuses very informative. Over the last few months, it does seem to be a period of powering down rather than powering up.

What do people do when they power down? Likely to sell.

This is the first time I am getting such an informative take on the status of overall activities on the Hive blockchain.

Of course, I do not vouch for the accuracy, but it will be worth your while to check HiveHubDEV out.
