Yep. Israel is left with the unenviable task of deciding whether or not to attack a hospital or letting the terrorists using it as a shield succeed in their goal (and they succeed to some extent either way). And on the other side, how can Palestinians who have loved ones killed by Israeli attacks do anything but hate Israel? This is a situation that can't improve until Hamas is gone.

Exactly, Palestinians are placed in a situation where their loved ones are harmed by a clear force. In their position, forgiveness under the circumstances would be asking a lot more than most people can handle. I can only imagine that if they were made aware of how they're being used, they might be able to be part of the fight against the common enemy.

The overarching concern is that, even if Hamas is eliminated, the brewing hatred among Palestinians would lead to the emergence of another group with the same intent. It's such a vicious cycle - Hamas was not the first.
