Some people stay in the toxic relationship out of habit. You fool yourself that it's out of love, but it's really just the habit of being with that person. You program your brain that you can't do without him/her. In doing so, you lose the real meaning of life and give control of your being and soul to someone else.

You're right. You know that I have learned something, that the same thing is not good for everyone. There are people like you say who get used to that kind of thing and others who accept certain things that others don't, because they make a conscious decision. The Lord has everything in the vineyard, that's why everyone must make their own decisions, sometimes we pressure someone to do or stop doing something, but it turns out that for that person that was fine and their dynamic somehow worked.
Of course, this is not always the case, so the world of relationships is a great ocean with still uncharted parts 🙄😅.
