late & fresh [Exhaust Running Report, September 7th 2020]

The long Monday after a decently long Sunday run (PUT challenge 17K [Exhaust Running Report, September 6th 2020]).

The day was long because of the work too. The run came last as is often on Mondays. At 10:30 pm I was already asleep and wanted to go out for the mandatory two miles.

It turned out to be a bit more. Flat run and fairly fresh September evening.

The illustration photos are from today's home garden check.

I think it was in June when I planted a pumpkin, more for the fun of it. Almost three months later I counted five growing fruits. Excellent.

The last of the big tomatoes.

And this will most probably be the last home grown strawberry of the season.

The funny thing with this pumpkin is that I put it in the soil behind the raised bed so it was in the shade. It found its way behind the bed and onto the sun. Amazing.

hahaha - Yes, it's really fun how some plants find its way to grow.
Sometimes, I have a feeling that the one I care about the most is ready to die first while the other one for which I think, "OK, if it grows - good, if it doesn't - doesn't matter;" would fight all the obstacles (even, less water if I forget watering it), and find its way.

We have some weird geranium (flower) that grows like crazy, no matter where, how, and when you replant it, and no matter what you do or don't do to it. 😅
