FungiFriday - Birch eaters
I have been trying to find an ID for these guys, and I gave up. It is so easy with some, but others just look like dozens of similar ones out there.
I found them in a few spots growing on a fallen and rotten bitch tree in Poland, if that helps, and some of you would know what they are.

A lovely old piece of white bark, fresh, juicy green moss, and intense orange shrooms. The colours were just so pretty!
A forest view break :)
The sun was getting low already and just gently peaking through the leaves. No wind, no rain... just lovely.
A few meters away, I found another birch. More hidden in grasses, but also with the same orange fungi on.
An older one with the hat flipped showing off the gills.
There were plenty of broken (or cut down) branches there. I did check on them too, but they were fresher and not unrough rotten wood yet.
But if they are left there to decompose, it will be a good place to check in a while.
It is also a good spot to pick edible mushrooms and I often see people walking their dogs there or cycling. Quite a popular spot and it doesn't surprise me. It's like a very large, wild park with multiples pats to walk on.

Orange mushrooms grow abundantly on wooden sticks. there are so many mushrooms growing between the fallen logs and branches, it looks very beautiful. Thank you for sharing some really great photos.

I could imagine myself in the woods without rain or wind - walking through the trees. Just simply enjoying the beautiful nature then discovering those beautiful mushrooms. The colours are all so beautiful - nature is fabulous.

The forest looks so natural, and it looks like the mushrooms above are the same kind I found, gymnopilus might be the right id for them, maybe

They are beautiful those orange mushrooms, as well as the photos. Whenever I come across these creatures I can't help but marvel at how beautiful and impressive our mother nature is. It's a park?
I thought it was a forest, with that wide path. In any case, it is a very nice place to walk and also find mushrooms :))
Forest.. but its so nice and well kept it almost feels like a bit wild park. Lots of paths around. Bike tracks... people walk dogs and jog. Its pretty cool :)
It can be a fusion of a forest with a park in it, of a park with a forest part hahaha.
Based on a quick search, they look very similar to Xeromphalina campanella and to Gymnopilus sapineus. Probably a mushroom expert would be able to tell what mushroom species they are exactly.
Hmm.. I dont think its any of them. I see differences between them.
They are sticky thing, thats why I something juts give up :p
I like looking at this mushroom, the color is very contrasting but a little big compared to other mushrooms.
