Alyyssa in Cebu + Dinner at Rico's Lechon + Bonding

When one of my best friends told me that she was finally traveling to Cebu and had plenty of time to meet up with me, I was very much looking forward to this day. But before that day, I informed my partner that she was coming, and I am so appreciative of his kindness in offering to pay for our dinner and coffee date. I already mentioned her in some of my blogs when I visited our province.

Our first agenda at that time is to meet and have dinner; because I know she is weary, I allowed her ample time to relax, and after work, I stayed in the office a little longer until she was ready so we could go out. She invited me to meet her at the APM Centrale Mall, but the restaurant was packed where her mom was dining along with her friends, and she didn't want to remain and wanted to go somewhere else instead.

So I decided to take us to VIBO Place for a change of scenery. So I ask the driver to send the vehicle to that location rather than SM or Ayala. We don't know where to eat when we get to VIBO, so we just wander around and look for restaurants that look interesting. Since my last visit to this location, new restaurants have opened up that I haven't tried before, so there are actually a lot of alternatives to consider.

Since Cebu is famed for its tasty and wonderful lechon, and so I considered visiting Rico's Lechon. This restaurant is well-known and has a large number of outlets throughout Cebu. It's a good thing there are several available tables for us to pick from because my friend and I were both eager to try this establishment out for the first time. Family gatherings may be held here as there are large tables set aside for large groups.

We were eager to sample the meal here, so we ordered 1/2 Kilo Spicy Lechon, Pansit, and Calamares. Alyyssa was hesitant to try the Spicy Lechon, but it was the only flavor available at the moment. While we waited for our food, we began chatting about what happened during the days I was unable to visit our province. We just celebrated our Feast in our province, and because I was not there, I missed a lot of the nice things that transpired.

We were quite pleased to try their meal when we received the order. I was looking forward to trying the Pansit as well because I had been wanting it recently. We were delighted and pleased since the food we got was great and well worth the price.
The serving size is generous and ideal for sharing. And it appears that we will be unable to finish it due to its serving size. We stayed at the restaurant for a while but had to leave before it closed because it was becoming late. So we started getting ready to go and asked for help packing the leftover food. I'm glad my friend was pleased and that she enjoyed the food and our dinner that night. I can't wait to meet her for another coffee or dinner date, and I'm sure I'll share it here as well.

That's all for now, hivers; I'll be sharing more blogs with her and making the most of her time in Cebu. Until the next time. 😘

xoxo ❤️
