TAKE YOUR KIDS TO WORK 2022 ✨✨✨

Our company values the families of its employees, especially the kids, so they hold a yearly event we call Take Your Kids to Work. Employees will have the opportunity to engage in various activities and show their children where they work by doing so. The benefit of this is that you can bring someone or a child close to your heart even if you don't have children. It might be a niece, nephew, cousin, or anybody else as long as their true parents approve.

As far as I recall, this event was normally conducted in August, but this year it was held in October. This is an extremely entertaining event, and I was privileged to experience it the year before the epidemic. I recall once taking Baby Bobby to this occasion.

Unfortunately, I do not have any kids or anyone close to my heart to accompany me to this event, and I was not even in the office when they performed the survey. However, this event is open to everyone, including those without children. Some of my friends volunteered to facilitate the event, but I couldn't because I had a shift throughout the day. So, while we were at the office, I noticed that they had done very little preparation and décor in our pantry area because the event would be on the other side of the building that our company had reserved for that occasion.

They used to host it on the 16th floor in prior years, but this year, since everything is back to normal, they want it to be bigger to embrace the new normal. Because some of my friends work the night shift and we seldom see each other, this event brings us together as I get to meet them and their children as well.
Because there are a lot of employees bringing their children, the event organizers come up with the concept of performing a planned tour of the workplace so it is not a hassle for individuals taking calls or working the day and also so the space is not packed or crowded.

I got to meet Jingky's kids and her spouse during the day. Kyrie was a chatty, cute young kid, and her daughter, who is nearly a teenager. They appear to be having a good time during the event. They began the tour on the Mezzanine level and proceeded to each production floor. Following the tour, they proceeded to the pantry area for food distribution. I was able to take photographs with them there, and I remember Kyrie saying, "Mommy, I like your friend." That's hilarious.

After my shift, I was able to see my other friend Michelle and her son in the afternoon. It's thrilling to see them and her son for the first time. I was invited to his birthday party but was unable to go due to my vacation. We took some time to catch up.

I was able to get a sneak view of the area where the event is taking place before heading home. I saw some really amazing items, and the kids seemed to be having a good time. They served a lot of candies and sweets and also hired a magician to keep the kids entertained. And after a few minutes, I went out to meet one of my friends for dinner.

Does your company host events like this? If you do, tell us about your experience.

Take your kids to work event surely made everybody happy sis. As I looked at the theme, I so love the how it was organized, especially the circus and the give away for kids. It always feels so good to be a kid at heart. And of course, the Jollibee, I am a fan. hehe. What a great day sis.

I wonder what’s inside the jobee box. Hehe. I am as excited as the kids. But surely the jobee meal toys, I could imagine, and maybe burger too. Although
you had no kid with you, still you enjoyed with the adorable kids there.

Opao's company is doing the same too. Yesterday, they invited all the employees kids to do trick and treats in the office. Unfortunately si Jeepjeep and Neyney was not behaving well. So, they're not able to join and be with the kids. Hahaha.

Love this approach! 🤍🤍🤍
