Celebrating one's birthday always has this joyful effect on the individual. Everyone gets to celebrate the new age until there is no more to celebrate. The opportunity to see another 12months chapter of your life is an achievement of its kind. Most people don't take that for granted.

There are different ways people choose to celebrate either by partying, vacation, or just with family and friends and even alone. For me I chose to celebrate this year's birthday by being home all day with my family. No large occasion just homemade foods and plenty of wishes.

Yeah, it's my birthday today and somehow the past year was not rosy but I see the light shining already. I see this day as a means to reminisce and find possible solutions to how the future will go. For the meantime it's been a good day, goodwill messages coming from friends and well wishers, colleagues and all. Nothing more one can ask for than a genuine description of you by people you are acquainted with.

The idea is to enjoy the day with my virtual friends here on hive. As I am ending the month of October with my celebration, I hope all our wishes for the year comes to past.
