lust and love are complex matters you can only define in your own way or the way you practice it. The practicability of love can give you clear pictures of it.
I have heard that love doesn't fade but I have seen married couples who ended up hating themselves after years of marriage and got divorced or separated.
Is there no love before they got married or can we say it was lust that got them married and divorced after years of marriage.
I am not going to give any definition of love because most of us have defined our own love in the way you want.
Love and lust is a thing we all experienced as humans. I was asking my friend about this question. He said love and lust are intertwined in many ways but what distinguishes love from lost is discipline.
I reflected on my own life and I discovered I have lous many times, especially when I see beautiful ladies. One day I was going to work and I saw this beautiful lady on the way. I walked faster in order to ask her questions. After we had a conversation for a few minutes, since we are not going the same direction, I collected her number and went my way.
After a few days I refused to call her number, even when I had enough credit to call, I did not call her.
What I am trying to insinuate is that I got lust when I saw her because of her body structure and beauty; and the moment I did not see her again, I forgot to call her or even remember her name. The moment I took another direction, I totally forgot about her.
To buttress my point, I was lus when I saw, it was not love at all.

I had a friend we met years ago. When we were living in the same state, I never knew that I loved the ladyl because we don’t always talk. Even though my house was not far from her, I didn't visit her. She came to me one day and said, “Chris, why don't you talk?” I laughed and responded ‘nothing’.
I collected her phone number and started calling her, there was not a day that i didn't call her. If I don't have a call card, I will use another medium available to reach her. This is how I started my life with her. After a few months I went back to the state, the moment i saw her, i hugged her and embraced her. After a few days of going back, I don't feel like leaving her again and up till now, our communication is still like the beginning and I cannot do without calling her. Am even loving her more now than before.
You can see the difference between the two individuals, the first one was ‘lust’ while the second person was ‘love’.

I asked my friend another question which was ‘can lust turn to love?’
YES, lust can turn to love. There are testimonies of people who lust at the beginning of their love and end up loving the same person more than any other persons in their lives.
Therefore, lust and love are complex matters you can only define in your own way or the way you practice it.
Lust can turn to love when there are mediums to activate it. If I continue to see that lady, there is a possibility of loving her but I knew the moment that my mind forgot her totally, it was lost.
The reason is that there are attributes I love about the woman that I saw in her, that was what drew my attention to her.

THE KEY IS DISCIPLINE
As love is emotional, so also lust is emotional. Both are powerful weapons. but Lust is for a moment while love stays longer.
Without discipline, love can turn to lust; It is discipline that will keep you continuing to love.

ADVANTAGE OF LOVE OVER LUST
Love makes you feel positive emotions and makes you happy. It makes you happy inside and outside. No wonder love is a medicine to our spirit, soul and body.

DISADVANTAGE OF LOVE
Love can hurt so much. For me, if you're not my friend, it will be very hard to hurt me because whatever you do against me can easily be forgotten.
If someone I love so much does something that is very bad to me, it hurts me more than when someone who is not my friend does it.
