Some doves make lovely and ear piercing sounds at the back of my house every morning

If you can't figure out how to pun in english, try your native language! In general puns are jokes ("A wargi" in Hausa) that use the similarity in sounds some words with different meanings have. For example, Hausa, which is a language used in Nigeria, sounds like House, which is a building people live in. So I might say "In Nigeria, visiting Europeans who need a place to stay might ask in a taxi in Spanish, but it's even more useful for them to ask in a Hausa."

Did you hear about the exotic bird that could sometimes sounds exactly like a human? My friend has some kind of talking parrot or something and it really freaked me out once...I walked in the room thinking my friend was coughing up his lungs, but it was the bird screeching! He told me to watch out for the Cacaw-phony, but I didn't expect that!

If you're touring South Asia and have not seen a bearcat, you have binturong places.

A tiger can make an impressive pet, really. But you better feed him on time daily.

With him, about burglars you will never have to fret. Just make sure, on the menu you never get...
