The second to last treasurer held out a wavering claw..."take my account book, and..."
She expired. Now the last treasurer was the only one who knew where the money was. Money no longer mattered in society, so she was more an artifact of a bygone age than anything, but people still enjoyed knowing things, like where money was.

"I wonder what that second to last treasurer wanted me to do with her account book."

The account book lay open on the desk beneath the second to last treasurer's corpse.

Oh no. OH NO.

Well, there were people to do this job. Cats and dogs,

oh gosh why did I go gross?

Oh well.

Cats and dogs streamed in, famished, and ate her corpse, bones and all. Not a drop of blood was missed. They left as quickly as they came, and the last treasurer picked up the second to last treasurer's book.

It was open to a page that said "the money for keeping the computer that keeps us all alive running"

What? No one had mentioned this.

Wow, what a difficult situation, all the money was there without knowing where. What a twist to the story. I hope someone takes care of keeping that computer on or we'll die.

Vaya vuelta a la historia, espero que alguien se ocupe de mantener esa computadora prendida o zuas y nos morimos.
