Hello everyone and community
As usual in every Monday, I will share the story and progress of the development of the garden hydroponic me and also the development of the installation of hydroponic that I'm working on for other people for one week.

Melon in Dutch Bucket System

I was contacted by my customer named Stephen to see the development of the plant hydroponic, which he planted. There are several installation hydroponic that I made for her. One model dutch bucket system to grow fruit crops. At the beginning of August 2021, we planted melons in the dutch buckets and progress of the fruit melon is very big, and has to be harvested.

This is a photo of melon plants in the Installation of the Dutch Bucket as the beginning of the week of planting.

For some people, the long silence in the house on the pandemic of boring. Many of the activities done in order to expel the taste of it. Include hobbies farming in hydroponics. Including Stephen, he does not pursue material results from the plants , but the pursuit of the result of happiness. Increase antibodies right one should always be happy.

This week, I also started to replanting vegetables kangkong which have mostly been harvested, the process of seeding the kangkong only took 4-5 days to be moved to the media hydroponic, I use the seeds kangkong bangkok from East West Seed Indonesia.

Kangkong is a kind of favorite vegetables for many people of Indonesia. The first reason, is because it's cheap and can be cooked easily. But, kangkong sold in traditional Markets sometimes there are a variety of insects such as the bloodsucker and centipedes, well different with Kangkong planted in the media hydroponic, we can get kangkong is clean and free of insects. Kangkong hydroponic also be sold at a price 4 times that of kangkong in traditional markets.

Transplanting Mustard Bitter

I've also remove the seeds mustard greens bitter (morakot) I do seeding in the last week. Mustard bitter is a favorite vegetable in our family, and there must always be planted at any time. In planting period this time, I planted mustard greens bitter as many as 150 of the planting hole. For the first week, I use a mixture of liquid fertilizer with a concentration of 800 ppm, the first week and the second week's water consumption of vegetables is not too much, and only need to be monitored occasionally.

Progress Samhong and Caisim

In the last week, I do the transplanting Samhong and Caisim to the media hydroponic. The development of this vegetable in the second week of very fast, and but the growth is not uniform. Uniform growth on the plant, could be a harbinger of seed used has excellent quality and maximum care.

To Samhong, we can see there are some vegetables that have the leaves have very wide and huge trunk but there are also some who are still very small, the difference in growth is to be seen. I think this happens because in this week I rarely to a stirring solution of fertilizer in the media hydroponic, maybe this is one of the factors. I hope next week, samhong will start to uniform development, maybe I'll do the sorting and grouping samhong based on its shape.

Mustard sweet or caisim, is a type of vegetable that is very popular in asian cuisine, especially the type of food noodles. I'm not too much planting vegetables, because at this time I have yet to get a good price, so I just planted about 60 of the planting hole.

Okay, this is my hydroponic journal during the last week. If you like my post this time, please reblog if you feel this post is useful to others.

Greetings of love from the garden.

That's fantastic! I love hydroponics and think you are doing an excellent job at it! It's remarkable how we can do these things by combining techniques like fish tanks and things growing on top. My brother has some pretty good hydroponic stuff growing like lettuce and stuff.

The melon in a bag is really awesome looking! Very smart to support it like that I think.
