Bring on the night

Hypoter - an old artwork that I thought would fit here.

Well, just a post to confirm the rumours that I am alive... in a zombie state, but with a working cerebellum that (apart from the hours around 4 pm) makes my body twitch and even walk. I have also been biking which is a dead sure proof of life (but neither of work, nor brain).

The Kickstarter I made together with Ifeanyi (aka. @nevies) succeeded even though I had given up on it! With only 15 hours to go a friend of mine phoned me and asked for assistance to pay the rest of the of the money so the goal could be reached. That was pretty neat. Thank you to people here who supported it. These last couple of weeks has gone by with doing illustrations and getting some proff-reading and editing up and running.

The first frame of the Kickstarter video.

And then I have been featured in the German Lovecraftian society magazine. If you master the language of Goethe, Hölderlin and Die Toten Hosen you can give the short text a go: https://www.deutschelovecraftgesellschaft.de/article/280-lovecrafter-online-lovecraftige-illustrationen-vom-projekt-katharsisdrill/ I know that @steevc knows some German :)

Nyarlathotep_700.jpg

Nyarlathotep - an old artwork that I made with Steemit user @Nyarlathotep - I miss that guy.

Well... I am back, I am doing good, I am melting in this unnatural heat. All I can do in the day is sitting trying to get my brain working; longing for the evening... So as the title promised:

The artwork like everything else you do is amazing... Congrats on getting the project rolling and it is always good to know that a virtual friend is out there living and doing some good.

That's a nice write-up and I managed to read most of it without resorting to translation tools. Also really glad the book got funded. I will get the e-book version. It's a shame postage makes it uneconomical to distribute further.

Stay well.

The book is just a short story, so if Ifeanyi gets to write some more Otagburuagu tales (and I think he will) I guess there could be a book large enough for some international shipping. Right now the prices are devastating for small projects like this, but we'll see how things work out.

Local print on demand may be the future for that. I bought a book from another Hiver that was printed by Amazon. I have had other stuff sent to me by you and others in the US, but that does work out expensive.

Hypoter is a really cool piece! Inspired by gravitational lensing?

Great to hear you're doing good. Welcome back to posting if that's what you mean by you're "back".
Congrats on getting featured on that magazine, seems like a big deal, I've gone over and translated the text so I can read it, it's a very short write-up.

So even with all the cold Denmark is known for the summer gets hot enough too?

In Denmark people go completely off-line in the summer, and so did I (more or less). Now the days are already becoming shorter, it's dark in the night and we prepare for winter. Nothing grows here from November to April and the trees shed their leaves and hibernate. So the yearly cycle goes from dark, cold and wet to light and warm. We only harvest in the late summer. I think they are at it or just finished.

First of all, I will say. We are both welcome back to the posting line 😊, mine was due to the fact that I'm a nursing mom so it wasn't so easy at first but Yes. I'm back for good. I went through your art works and articles. It was so distinguished out of tens and hundreds of stuff I read online. I Followed you. You can also check on my articles too. @katharsisdrill
