Resolution 23

So I've had a hard time doing what I wanted, but I have helped people lately and that is of course also as it should be. I can see that it really has helped and that they are rising from the hardship in a good way that might lead them into a better position... so, now it is only I that needs to get back on the track.

Posting here has been a bit of a challenge for some reason. I have been on the federeated social media Mastodon while all the Twitter refugees arrived and even though it never was my favourite media it is easy and shallow as micro blogging is. It has made it possible for me to write a bit in Danish and to encounter people from communities that I wouldn't have encountered in other places (just like I have here).

So one of these communities are chaos magicians from the UK and their spawn from the US. It was thanks to them that I made the following four sigils for the new year.

I'm glad to hear your hiatus from here is because you were giving help, and not because you were receiving it. Silly of me, the worrywort. Which reminds me, how is your foot?

These are curiously cool. I don't know what a sigil is though.

I seldom ask for help - I have a wife that absorb and mend all my problems. And on top of that I am quite well - also my foot - so I use a fair amount of time walking the gloomy winter streets of Copenhagen.

As for the Sigils I guess they are crypto-new-years-resolutions of sorts. I love playing with language and scripture so this was quite a bit of fun. These magicians are down to earth and pretty intelligent people, and the sigils seem to be a simple way of manipulating the world. Just as most other things humans do... If it works? 2023 will tell :)

I'm happy that you can find online communities in your own language. I'm lucky to be a native English speaker as that is just everywhere. Some cool stuff on Mastodon, but a definite anti-crypto feeling. I'll still pimp Hive there :) Plus I get to see more stuff from you.

Yes, it has been fun to write people in Danish, and both Swedes and Norwegians can get it so the audience is larger than just the five-six millions of this little Kingdom.

And yes, Mastodon is for the holier than thou upper middle class tech savvy John the Baptist type - I think it is also enhanced by the micro blogging form. Things get much less nuanced when you have a limited wordcount.

On the other hand - as I wrote in the post - I have maybe too high expectations to what a Hive post should contain, and I haven't had the surplus to write all the things I want to write. The art still rolls ahead though, it is just the promotion that is lacking.

Chinese new year is coming. We should keep helping each other, it gives peace to one's heart and makes the next person happy. As we are Pakistanis and our national language is Urdu, if the committee also knows Urdu, it becomes much easier for us to write. When I woke up in the morning, there was a hive pump. It is the power of the community that has made this project a strong. If the market continues to pump like this, it will be seen at one dollar in the next few days.

I'm sure you've been doing a good job helping and make the world a better place, you're one of the kindest fellows I've seen in my life. Kudos, dude. Great art pieces as always, even the simolest things look really good and artistic when you make them 😊✌️

I like how you use the Krita program to create light and shadow effects, and how you manage to express the emotions of the characters.

What inspired you to create this world and these scenes?
