Traditional alcohol from my garden 🇧🇬

Hello to all the bees in the hive. Today I want to share with you about the grape harvest from our organic garden. How from this harvest we make in my country Bulgaria 🇧🇬🤍💚❤️ a traditional alcohol called rakiq.

There is no Bulgarian who has not tried or does not love rakia 😁 I can compare this alcoholic drink maybe with brandy or uski, but a little stronger💪

This year, as I mentioned in my previous post, the grape harvest was rich. We collected nearly 200 kilograms of grapes from this small garden 🍇🍇🍇

In these photos you can also see the whole process of making this magical licorice brandy. Starting with the grape picking.🍇🍇🍇

Then the crushing of the grapes. Placement in cans where it remains for a few days to ferment and increase its degree and sugar.⏳🌡️

It is then placed in a special copper vessel and sealed. This vessel is connected to another by means of a thin coiled rod and then the first vessel with the grapes is heated by means of fire and from the high temperature begins to flow through the pipe through the other vessel which cools the alcohol to flow to a suitable degree for consumption.

And you can also see the final result. Pure transparent liquid, alcohol at 60 degrees which is then diluted with a little water to make it drinkable at around 40-42 degree
