Wat Mueng Rae (Pang Kwai), another small rural temple in the hill tribe village, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Hello everyone. Wat Mueng Rae (Pang Kwai), A small rural temple in another hill tribe community in Fang District. This temple is located in a village with many hill tribes. Me and my wife are interested in this temple. So we intend to visit this temple last month. And take pictures to share with friends.

Getting to Wat Mueng Rae (Pang Kwai), drive from Chiang Mai - Fang on highway 107. Upon reaching Fang District, drive to Mae Kha Subdistrict. Mae Kha - Mae Suai route, temple on the right. Most of this road is a natural route. We saw many villagers' farms. And we see hill tribe farms both on the plains and on the hills.

When we arrived at the temple, we see the temple name plate made of wood. And the large entrance arch of the temple, which was also made of wood. The roof of the entrance arch is built in a Lanna style blended with Tai Yai. On either side of the left and right entrance arches are statues of white lions.

When we enter the temple, the first thing we see is the buddha image hall (viharn) of this temple. The buddha image hall (viharn) built from cement bricks, Decorated in a simple Lanna style blended with Tai Yai. But I think this buddha image hall (viharn) looks simple but beautiful.
The entrance stairway to the buddha image hall (viharn) has a serpent sculpture like other temples. And there are sculptures of 2 angels in front of the stairs on the left and right sides.

Inside the buddha image hall (viharn) is now being renovated. Inside there is a main buddha image in the style of the attitude of subduing mara and many small buddha images. On the walls are decorated with many buddhist paintings.

Beside the buddha image hall (viharn), we see a large pavilion. This pavilion is built in a simple Lanna style blended with Tai Yai as well. Area front of the pavilion on the left and right sides there sculptures of giants and angels. This pavilion is used for religious ceremonies of monks and villagers.

Inside the pavilion, there is a large main buddha image in the style of the attitude of subduing mara in the middle. And two small buddha images in the attitude of subduing mara style on the left and right sides. In front of the main buddha image, there is a white Buddha image, the style of the attitude of subduing mara, Tai Yai style. The ceiling of the pavilion is decorated with flags and hanging mobile phones in Tai Yai style.

In addition other areas inside the temple have many Buddha images.

The overall atmosphere inside the temple and outside the temple, looks peaceful and shady with big trees and outside the temple surrounded by villagers' farms.

Of course me and my wife enjoy and relax at this temple. And we like this temple.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to watch and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
