I'll answer it easily. With a memory of childhood in the cold nights of “Copa Cabana”, one of the beaches in Venezuela. I was watching my brother trying to exercise to lose weight, when at 6 years old I started imitating my 11-year-old brother. Every night I began the routine to achieve it, which consisted of push-ups and sit-ups. I conclude the story. Oh my beginnings. I direct your attention to my development. The intensity of a young man, already in fourth grade. I watch an anime “Naruto” and witness the “discipline” in the passions of an iconic character from that anime “rock lee”. I dedicated every free moment to training to be equal to him. Time passes, already in high school, I got a stopwatch; which rang every 1 and a half hours, a signal to start the routine. At one point in my school life I made it my mission to increase the number of push-ups I did every hour and a half, by 1 more per week. Getting to do 70 push-ups. It is a good anecdote and the reason it is good is because I discovered the fragility of my body. You might wonder, how? When I converted the 70 push-ups to 71 push-ups, I caused a tear in my pectoral.

How did I find out about the sport?
I respond with another story of a young man who was beginning to see the world outside of school and home. Spending a simple night on vacation in a vacant lot where some bars lie that are still alive today by the young calisthenics that develop in these times. In that place I saw a man doing pirouettes in the air, from a parallel path. It was Mr. “Camilo Cuervo”. That day I had a paradigm shift. Those physical feats, which I once saw in “Naruto,” can be achieved.

My goals changed from just increasing my reps while training to conditioning the body to accomplish those feats.

You already know who I am. By the way, my name is Julio Alexander Carrizales Valdez. I am 27 years old. You already know how I started, my changes and my development, even with some ambiguities. However, we must continue. Continue with what, you say. Well, the idea now is to say how I met the SWC community. After several competitions in which we participated, one of my colleagues was contacted, I tell you about @miguelworkout, who has stood out for his skills. He was invited to many events, but because he is a minor he has not been able to attend. As time went by, another of my colleagues, @neomar-oz, was invited to participate because of his skills. It is not strange, here in the state of Bolívar I can attest that there is potential for young people for this sport. My partner @neomar-oz wanted me to join SWC so they could get to know me and see the person I am. Here I am, I hope both the community and you, the reader, like me, if you haven't stopped reading my little biography yet. I thank you for your attention… I say goodbye.

Hello again … I'm back. Yes I know. I had said goodbye, but I failed to mention my goals to achieve in the Hive ecosystem and in SWC. Among my goals is to take inclusion in this community as a reason to follow the sport after having gone through the countless injuries I have had on the path that people call life.
