Rambling about downvotes and then a giveaway?
I love hive. The community is very supportive and helpful. There are people who I follow, read and upvote posts and I have followers who do the same. So it was a big surprise and no small amount of consternation when I found one of my posts ratioed to oblivion 😔
I immediately checked if there was anything offensive. It was about celebrating my rise to Silver League in Splinterlands. I am not sure how this post offended anybody so I checked who downvoted my post.
I'm not sure how these downvoters care about Splinterlands. How do their downvotes help or support anybody in the Splinterlands community or even hive in general.
After taking a deep breath or maybe several. I just accepted the fact that sometimes life throws you lemons.
I apologise for ranting since this was supposed to be my giveaway post but I started with complaints.

I don't think it's individual hate by all of these people. Some people have joined downvote groups that go after people who one person might think is exploiting the reward pool.
The irony? Most of these people are cult leaders and are driving people AWAY from Hive and raping the reward pool themselves.
Look at the usernames here. Many are bots with the prefix "pob". Find the account with actual posts on it and that will be your culprit.
