A Despidida Party of My Colleague, Wishing Him a Safe Travel Abroad

I just wanted to share how I gave importance to the people who are dear to me. He's one of my colleagues who's been successfully hired on the spot abroad last month. And this month will be his scheduled flight going to USA. I can't helped but to keep cheering on his achievements in his career. And what I wished for him was that he may have a safe, sound and productive trip.

Yesterday was a big day. I together with some colleagues prepared something for our dearest friend.
He's my very friend way back then when I got hired last 2013.
Were both having the same department. Having him in a group felt so much lively and energetic before classes started. As I recalled back then during our first day of service at work.

It's a perfect timing that he will be travelling in Lapu-Lapu City to have his medical check up. So without hesitation weve picked him up and brought him to the place where despidida will be held.

Everything's already prepared from tarpaulin, cake,foods,drinks and bouquet. They're all being set up before he came.
And we're very happy that finally we successfully invited him to be at the place. The despidida Party was held in a beach. This place was also very memorable for us. Occasions and simple celebrations like birthday of my colleagues will be most of the time held in this beautiful beach in Lapu-Lapu City.

He was surprised with all the preparations we've made during the night. He was happy seeing us.

And then we welcomed him through capturing group photos...
Each one of us were enjoying the night.

We blessed the food, through offering prayers and gratitude that were able to gather around as one family.

And then we satisfied our tummies on that night eating our delicious and our favorite foods.

The foods filled everyone's tummy. It was a happy mood for everyone of us eating delicious and varieties of foods.

So much things to be grateful for..Were so happy one of our colleagues wish really came true..It's his long time dream to work abroad and finally God granted it.
The despidida celebration lasted for how many hours. It was such a beautiful bond of friendship and camaraderie. Sharing the excitement of the opportunities and success of one of our colleagues was something to be cherished with.

And then the night couldn't be completed without his message to everyone of us.. Some hearing his messages were teary eyed, not because of being sad but a joy felt in our heart, that at last he will be in his permanent greener pasture..

And everyone wished him to travel well and be safe. We wished him that wherever he may go, always to be his foot set on the ground,be humble always and placed God at the center of your life.

The night filled with so much joy sharing stories, laughters that made each one of us forget that it's already night. It was such a beautiful gathering towards with another colleague...
