I am doing this simplier and quicker using the following ingredients

1/4 kg of pork sliced belly
1 clove garlic
1 pc onion
2 tbsp of soysauce
1 medium sized potatoes cut in cubes
1/2 medium sized of carrots cut in cubes
2 tbsp of tomato sauce
2 tbsp of catsup
sliced of pineapple tidbits
Here are the procedures in making this simple pork Afritada
1.In a hot oil, sautรฉ pork in a medium heat until golden brown, removing also the fats from pork belly.

2.In a pan,sautรฉ onion and garlic together.
3.Add sliced potatoes and carrots together and cooked for 3 minutes.

4.Pour in a cup of water, tomato sauce and soy sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.

5.Simmer for another 10 minutes.

6.Check if carrots and potatoes are soft already. Adjust its seasonings.

Serve this hot and paired it with steamed rice.

Here it is my pork Afritada is now ready to serve. I loved this comfort dish because I cooked it in a homestyle way. I made sure it's flavor is hearty because its rich in tomato sauce plus the added carrots and potatoes. Surely kids loved this healthy way of cooking veggies.
This would be all for now and see you in my next cooking blog journey..Bye๐ค
