Special occasions at the New Year celebration where my beloved daughter attended the nursery - Part 2
Hi my loving friends, Greetings from Sri Lanka. I believe you are doing well right now. I hope you remember the content presented by this platform yesterday. I was referring to the events my daughter encountered at the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, a cultural event held in the nursery for my pet daughter and other children. In fact, the Sinhala and Tamil New Year is a special occasion for Sri Lankans. It is a great opportunity to renew old relationships and exchange gifts. This traditional festival includes a number of sports that are unique to us and are descended from ancient society. We perform New Year rituals on time because we must continue to preserve our culture and traditions. No doubt you already know that every country has its own traditions and culture.
My daughter and about 60 other children are doing preschool education in this nursery and three teachers are watching the children's activities closely. With the knowledge of these three teachers, our children also eagerly prepared for this special occasion. These little kids had no previous New Year's Eve experience, so it was as if they were getting ready for a fresh experience. Although some of the children were nervous, many of them participated in the traditional New Year games by wearing different colored costumes like in a different concert. Parents should be commended for attending the event beautifully, with separate outfits for girls and sarongs and shirts for boys. It is our responsibility as parents to understand the needs and desires of our children in particular.
One of the highlights of this year's festival is the drawing of an elephant. There they have to blindfold the children and walk from a distance and put a dot on the elephant's eye with a chork stick. Out of all the children who participated, the one who put the dot closest to the eye was the winner. In addition, pillow fighting is a sport in which two people participate between two poles that are raised to a certain level above ground level. Both participants are provided with two pillows stuffed with cotton and the two of them whip each other. The one who falls from the pole is defeated. Many of these traditional sports are held at New Year festivals in Sri Lanka. Especially children interesting to each events. So many parents arrange their kids to many new year events like this. Thanks for visiting. See you soon. Have a nice day.

They look all glam up and very festive 🤗
Great event! I've always been interested in the culture and traditions of other countries. It allows me to learn more about other people and their lives. Japan has especially attracted me recently, and the Japanese culture event has become a godsend for me in this matter. I learned interesting facts and was able to immerse myself even more in this culture and its study.
