Quiero compartir con todos ustedes la hermosa experiencia que tuve la fortuna de vivir, mi viaje a Barquisimeto, exactamente a un lugar increíble que se sitúa allí, La Flor de Venezuela.
I want to share with all of you the beautiful experience that I had the fortune to live, my trip to Barquisimeto, exactly to an incredible place that is located there, La Flor de Venezuela.
Todo comenzó desde las 6am, dónde nos despertamos para alistarnos e ir al terminal de Carora, Estado Lara, para dirigirnos a Barquisimeto. Un viaje técnicamente corto de 1hr y 30 minutos. Quisiera acotar que soy de Caracas, pero para poder realizar el viaje con mis amigas, llegué unos días antes a su ciudad.
It all started at 6am, where we woke up to get ready and go to the terminal of Carora, Lara State, to go to Barquisimeto. A technically short trip of 1hr and 30 minutes. I would like to point out that I am from Caracas, but in order to make the trip with my friends, I arrived a few days earlier to your city.
Llegamos a Barquisimeto y me encantó desde el primer momento, una ciudad bastante agitada pero agradable y muy bonita. Fuimos a casa de una de mis amigas a descansar para al día siguiente ir a nuestro destino. Pero antes, pasamos comprando un pequeño snack jajaja.
We arrived in Barquisimeto and I loved it from the first moment, a city quite hectic but nice and very beautiful. We went to the house of one of my friends to rest for the next day to go to our destination. But before, we went shopping for a little snack hahaha.
Luego de un día completo de paseo por la ciudad para conocer más de ella, quiero hacer mención especial al increíble monumento del Obelisco de Barquisimeto, después de tantos años al fin pude conocerlo. Y bueno, llegamos ¡Por fin! A uno de los lugares más lindos y emblemáticos que posee Venezuela, el cuál fue declarado patrimonio nacional en el 2013. El mismo fue inaugurado en el año 2008.
After a full day of walking around the city to learn more about it, I want to make special mention to the incredible monument of the Obelisk of Barquisimeto, after so many years I finally got to see it. And well, we finally arrived! To one of the most beautiful and emblematic places in Venezuela, which was declared national heritage in 2013. It was inaugurated in 2008.

Desde la entrada quedamos sorprendidas con su belleza, es tal cual se ve en internet, una obra arquitectónica digna de admirar.

Los jardines son quienes te reciben apenas llegas. Al entrar nos encontramos con una hermosa exposición diversa, dónde nos muestran una pequeña réplica de lo que es La Flor de Venezuela, hecha por el arquitecto venezolano Bruno Díaz.

Lo que más llamó mi atención fue el acuario, una gran cantidad de peces que nunca había visto, habían muchas especies, desde los peces más pequeños hasta los más grandes.
What caught my attention the most was the aquarium, a large number of fish that I had never seen before, there were many species, from the smallest to the largest fish.
Hay una hermosa bebé mantarraya, una anguila y muchos peces payasos. No había tenido la oportunidad de ver a estos pequeños pero hermosos animales, fue maravilloso.
There is a beautiful baby manta ray, an eel and many clown fish. I had not had the opportunity to see these small but beautiful animals, it was wonderful.
Nos encontramos con la famosa escultura de hierro de Don Quijote De La Mancha, se nota bastante su antigüedad, pero a pesar de eso está en buenas condiciones.

Algo que si lamento bastante es que estaba cerrado el acceso para ir al segundo piso y la flor en todo momento estuvo cerrada, nunca abrió sus pétalos, según personas que trabajan allí, nos comentaron que lleva mucho tiempo cerrado por un supuesto mantenimiento.
One thing i do regret is that the access to the second floor was closed and the flower was closed at all times, it never opened its petals, according to people who work there, they told us that it has been closed for a long time due to a supposed maintenance.
Amé mi viaje a la Ciudad Crepuscular, una ciudad con muchos lugares donde puedes divertirte y conocer. Quise compartir con todos ustedes mi experiencia e invitarlos a qué si tienen la oportunidad de ir y conocer, vayan, es un lugar muy bonito.
I loved my trip to the Twilight City, a city with many places where you can have fun and get to know. I wanted to share with all of you my experience and invite you to go if you have the opportunity to go, it's a very nice place.
