I think your comparison makes a lot of sense. Certainly there are aspects in which many of the characters were changing, but for the worse as is the case with Goku.
On the other hand, remember that it is important to visit and support the posts of other users, please take it into account.

Goku in DBS even became hard to stomach. They ruined a lot of the character, unfortunately.
Now I'm going to move on to look at supporting other creators.
