Alina and Asif are apart but nevertheless together in each other's heart. They miss each other terrible and are not themselves whilst being apart.
It was confusing that he sold his mobile in order to eat.
However it is good that he had an opportunity to call her. Their conversation confirmed their love for each other. Now they could hear each others voice and have something to look forward to when they meet again.
