It must have been quite a surprise when you saw your dream "playing out" that fateful day. Luckily your mother was very convincing and no hardship was experienced. It is interesting to know what would have happened if you told your mother. Maybe you could have asked if she would have done anything differently.
It is understandable that after that experience - you now pay more attention to your dreams. One never knows when they will become a reality.

Sometimss dreams are actually a way for us to be informed on the things that may happen to us in the future and even how we can do some certain things to prevent them so as to be on the safer side.
