Your dream was very vivid and translated into reality when you saw the young man you dreamt about. That must have been quite a shock. Nevertheless, you approached him and did the best you could to help him to get off the streets. You have a good heart and hopefully your efforts will help the young man to start a new life and there will be a different outcome from that of your dream.
