Music can certainly be uplifting and inspiring. It is not strange to become motivated by music and the person singing. It is great that this artist helped you through a dark period. Even people at a distance can have a positive impact through their words and actions. You are certainly a true fan as you have thought about how you would also spend your day together etc. I hope you will get a chance to see him perform live one day.
