Satoshi Nakamoto's Identity and a Plea from a Humble Fan

No matter what the price of Bitcoin and all the other alternative coins turn out to be, or even if they all fail (very unlikely), it wouldn't matter. Because the real treasure is the invention of Blockchain technology.

Blockchain technology can never fail. It is a genius idea and a revolution that would completely change the world in the long run. And all of us who love the tech and cryptocurrencies have one man to thank for it: Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin and Blockchain technology.

Luckily he's getting all the worship for his achievements. He has a cult following, and he was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences in 2016. So, things are quite as they should be as regards getting his flowers.

Satoshi Nakamoto's Identity

But sadly, we do not know this person, we do not know if it is a man, woman, or a group of people.

As we all know, they have remained anonymous and the last time anyone heard from them was through the last email sent to developer Mike Hearn on the 23rd of April, 2011, which said Bitcoin was in good hands now and that they were moving on to other things.

A lot of speculation has been made about who Satoshi Nakamoto might be. I really enjoy listening to all the conspiracy theories and speculations about the true identity. Somehow these speculations entertain me thoroughly.

All the speculations and stories about the CIA, Nick Szabo, Craig Wright, Hal Finney, Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto, Elon Musk, Brad Garlinghouse, John Nash, etc!

All the stories trying to link these guys to the identity, and all the reasons given have been so interesting to read and watch videos about.

From all I've consumed on the matter, the conclusion I've come to is that the late Hal Finney has got to be Satoshi Nakamoto. He was a developer who helped build Bitcoin/Blockchain. He was also the first Bitcoin recipient from Nakamoto.

The main reasons given for why he might not be the one are: that he has a lot of email discussions with Satoshi Nakamoto that don't seem made up, and his wallet shows he transacted with the real Satoshi. But what about these cannot be made up?

What about these can a person not do in order to protect their identity? Anyone can have two email accounts and email themselves and send replies as if they were talking to someone else. Anyone can send Bitcoin to another wallet as if they were sending it to someone else.

Further, Satoshi's disappearance coincided with the worsening of Finney's ailment that took his life at last. Which is such a coincidence! And the biggest coincidence that should assure us he is Nakamoto is that there was a man named Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto living close to Finney.

Clearly, Finney got the pseudonym from this guy. Because, how can this be just a coincidence?

Finney died on August 28, 2014, of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as motor neurone disease (MND) or Lou Gehrig's disease. It is incurable, and before he died he asked that his body be frozen and stored so that when Science finds a cure for the disease he can be treated and brought back to life!

There are 1.1 million Bitcoins in Satoshi's known wallet which has been left untouched since his disappearance. It is really difficult to believe that anyone has the strength to resist the temptation of spending some of that money.

Except they've lost their keys, or except they are now dead, like Finney. In the future, when science finds the cure and brings Finney back to life, that money will be worth way more. Probably what Finney hopes for.

A Plea from a Humble Fan

A lot of enthusiasts like myself are really interested in knowing the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. I'm almost 100% certain that it is Hal Finney, though. But of course, I might be wrong. And of course, nothing would be more certain than the real Satoshi coming out by themselves.

That is not my request, though. I request that, if they're still alive and don't ever want to come out, they should at least write a will that would reveal their identity (with proof) after they're gone.

If they are a group, the will should contain the condition that the identity should be revealed only when every single one of them is dead.

I know this is fair and not too much to ask. And I know this would speak for thousands of enthusiasts out there. Or what do you think?

Satoshi's identity was revealed a few years ago. He is Adam Back, one of the original developers.

Whoa!! I just watched the entire video. Very plausible and I can almost bet it's that guy. I'm still letting it settle in my head, though. I really enjoy listening to the theories about who it could be. Somehow I'm intensely entertained by this stuff.

Since this much points to the guy, the FBI are supposed to have said something by now. Did you hear anything? I should go online and search a little.

I haven't heard anything myself. But if the FBI don't already know who it is, I'd be surprised.

Sorry for taking over the comments section with that YT video. I didn't know posting a link would put a full size vid up there like that :/

Right? It'd be surprising, but I think it's possible the FBI doesn't know.

About the YT link, it doesn't matter. It's no problem at all 😊.

yes you can be wrong about Hal Finney but also you can be right as well. if you are right and Hal Finney is dead those 1.1 million bitcoin are useless.

But he might come back in future to spend it, if a cure for that disease is found 🌚

Now I am beginning to think that Satoshi is Hal Finney, the coincidence is to real but if he is not Hal Finney then, where is he? He should at least answer to the plea of the people.

Hal Finney's dieing wish sha! But why will he wants to come back to life, is it for the Bitcoins he left?😏 anyways, I hope scientists do find a cure to his disease.

So far, the truth has not been revealed as to where this person is now and the bitcoins in his wallet, will they ever be transferred or not, or has this person passed away from this world. There is no news.
