Why the Meme Coin Market Doesn't Mean Alts are Dead
The memecoin market created a very crazy new variant of cryptocurrency. 40 to 60 thousand coins are created everyday, they're ultra volatile; value can go from 10 cents to $10 in a matter of minutes. It is common for them go from pinnacle top relevance to abandoned in a matter of minutes or hours.
Crazy crazy market.
But all this volatility meant that people who had billions can manipulate the market very easily and make unfathomable profits.
So as we watched hundreds of millions to billions being rotated in and out of the meme market we all knew that there were billionaires in play manipulating the market.
And when the Alt Season didn't come last year, so many people were saying that one of the very likely reason it did not come was because all the money that should have gone into Alts went into memecoins.
This explanation made a lot of sense, because one of the few major differences this cycle was the memcoin market, we saw all the billions there too.
Then later on people started saying that the Alt Season would probably not come again because the big boys who usually pumped Alt coins are no longer interested and they've taken their monies to memecoins because of the crazy profits possible there; and they won't be back to Alt coins anymore.
This made quite some sense because we thought that would want to leave a volatile market like the memecoin market which you're exploiting for crazier profits to go and start putting in money in the Alt coin market when you know you'll get less.
This made so much sense to a lot of us that I've seen so many say that Alt coins are probably over and would never come again.
I gave this some thought recently and came up with a very interesting idea that makes me feel confident that Alt coins are not over and there'll definitely be an Alt Season again in future.
And what I came up with is this: The Alt coin market is more volatile than the Bitcoin market, and the Bitcoin market is still more volatile than the Forex market. Yet the existence of a more volatile market like Bitcoin that can offer manipulators more control than the Forex market didn't make the manipulators leave the Forex market for the Bitcoin market.
The same way the existence of a volatile market like the Alt coin market that can offer manipulators more control than the Bitcoin market didn't make the manipulators leave the Bitcoin market for the Alt coin market.
This is the same way the memecoin market which is more volatile and can offer more control than the Alt coin market would not make the manipulators leave the Alt coin market for the Memecoin market.
Pretty simple, right?
So that is it. The huge investors that make the Alt coin market get it's Alt Season would not decide to stop being interested in making Alt Season because of the existence of the smaller more volatile memecoin market.
