Food is one of my favorite recipes. Learning new recipes that have been passed down for generations is a culinary culture that we should always preserve. Simple cakes are so easy to make, but sometimes we forget because we never wanted to know anything about them.

Banana Kiping

Kiping pisang is one of the traditional cake preparations that have existed since a long time ago. It is served as a cake for family gatherings or other events. This cake comes from the Bangka region, but this kiping cake is not only available in Bangka in Palembang as well and is often known as Lembang cake.

Kiping cakes are usually large in size but I made a mini size that is almost similar to pancakes. But this kiping cake itself is processed from vegetable ingredients without eggs and other ingredients. Using only a few ingredients, this cake becomes very delicious far beyond my previous expectations.

The banana kiping is ready to serve, I serve it while it's warm is much better, the banana aroma is very strong there is my favorite. The combination of flour, butter and banana is very tempting. I usually prepare godok-godok from this preparation, but it turns out that processed banana kiping is also very tasty and much healthier because it is not fried. It's roasted on a small fire in my favorite non-stick skillet.
