First Time Cooking Seafood In Padang Sauce
Come on, check out the recipe for this delicious dish!
Padang Sauce Shrimp Crab
Padang sauce dishes made from processed seafood are sold out there. But of course they sell them at very high prices, perhaps because the price of crabs is incredibly expensive out there.
This time I want to make Padang sauce using whatever ingredients I have at home. Of course, using mini crabs that I bought at the market and also a combination with shrimp. So, for vegetables I only use corn and chopped spring onions. However, if you want to add other vegetable variants, it all depends on your taste.
So, when cooking Padang sauce, you have to prepare a lot of ingredients. However, I still think that without any flavoring ingredients or anything else, this dish is already very tasty. The tip is to use boiled water from the seafood itself during the cooking process. Because that will make it more delicious, savory and different.
Materials Used
100 grams of shrimp
1 piece of sweet corn
1 egg
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
3 tablespoons chili sauce
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground pepper
2 bay leaves
2 lime leaves
Ground Spices
5 cloves of red onion
2 cloves of garlic
3 cm turmeric
2 candlenuts
Cooking Procedure
Clean the crab, then cut the crab, then boil the crab briefly until it changes color, and then drain.
Prepare the ground spices then blend the spices as finely as possible using a little water.
Prepare the corn, cut it into several pieces, take the corn cobs at the same time so that the sweetness will be more pronounced.
Beat the loose eggs in another bowl first, use whole eggs.
Saute the ground spices until fragrant in a frying pan with a little cooking oil.
Then add the lime leaves and bay leaves. Then add the chili sauce.
Continue seasoning with tomato sauce, oyster sauce and ground pepper, stir until evenly mixed.
Then add all the corn that was cut earlier. Once it starts to boil, add the shrimp too.
And cook again, wait for the shrimp to be half cooked, add the boiled crab along with the water too.
Once boiling, add the eggs and slowly stir while stirring. Then cook until the sauce from the Padang sauce begins to reduce.
Don't forget to season with salt, and add chopped spring onions to make it taste better. Cook until the spices are completely absorbed.
Results
Serve the crab with psdang sauce on a serving plate, then experience the extraordinary taste sensation of this seafood dish. Interestingly, the aroma of seafood and corn is enough to satisfy my appetite. Moreover, the addition of chopped spring onions and eggs makes it thicker and what I like most is that the corn is really delicious when combined with a spicy sauce like this.
The taste sensation, savory, sweet, slightly spicy, is very delicious. Plus the maturity of the seafood itself is so perfect that I can't stop eating this alone. Hahaha don't be afraid I enjoyed it two stages in one pan. Besides, as usual I enjoy it by adding warm white rice. Aahhh the perfect combination of sauces really tastes great!
