How To Make Corn Potato Fried Chili

Potato Corn Fried Sambal

Corn potatoes chili sauce is a preparation of corn and potatoes which is prepared by cooking with potatoes, then combined with hot chili sauce. Spicy that is not excessive makes the fried corn and potato chili sauce tempting. Well, the corn itself provides natural sweetness and a distinctive aroma to this fried chili sauce, giving this dish a very spectacular taste.

This dish is inspired by the fried potato chili sauce that I usually make at home. Fried chili sauce has become a favorite food as a special holiday dish which is quite tempting. But we will make it different today, simply by making this potato fried chili sauce by combining it with corn.

Here I will prepare an easy recipe to make this dish!.




Materials Used

4 medium sized potatoes
1 ear of sweet corn



Ground Spices

4 clove garlic
6 clove shallots
2 tomatoes
7 red chilies
1 teaspoon salt
1 spoon sugar




Cooking Procedur


Step 1


Peel the potato skin, cut into pieces, fry the potatoes until brownish yellow.

Step 2


Cut the corn into medium size then wash it until clean.

Step 3


Finely chop the spices then grind the spices until they are as fine as possible.

Step 4


While waiting for the potatoes to be fried, sauté the ground spices with a tablespoon of cooking oil, cook until the water content in the spices is reduced.

When the spices are cooked, add a little water and then add the corn.

Step 6


Cook until the corn is cooked, then season with salt and sugar.

Step 7


Once the corn starts to cook, add the fried potatoes, stir until everything is evenly mixed with the chili sauce.

Serve the fried corn and potato chili sauce on a serving plate, serve with warm white rice for your lunch and dinner. The slightly spicy taste, the sweetness of the sugar and the natural sweetness of the corn are enough to give the characteristics of vegan fried chili sauce with minimal ingredients. At first glance, it is very simple, but it tastes quite luxurious. What I like most is the aroma of corn which is quite tempting.
