RE: The Cost of Unresolved Conflict

I think I am part of those who immediately shut down due to misunderstanding, especially as an over-thinker most times because I need to process the whole thing but it is never easy for me to immediately go back to how I was with the person before the conflict but I am learning to keep the communication going even if I have a misunderstanding with someone.

Many men are egotistical and find it very difficult to say "I am sorry* to their spouse, especially since they have the backing of that adage to keep them going, and many women are still building their marriages even when they are tired, so I think the adage is supposed to be extinguished because it doesn't favour women.

But then, you are right, most misunderstanding needs "I am sorry" for everyone to go back to their original self but the ego is the reason why it always leads to divorce.
