Hi guys, i trust we're all having a wonderful day. So today i am addressing and bringing the simplest solution and steps in partaking in The Neoxian City Minetest Game with lot's of prizes to be won. a newbie guide.

First, the big question troubling the minds of the newbies are,

No, you can minetest on both a computer and a mobile phone so it doesn't matter your device, just have a good spec.
If you are opportune to have both devices then the best thing would be running on both devices as you would not always have your PC on you especially in public places when you want to quickly navigate through the game.

Here is a simple step on how you can download and setup the minetest game on both PC's and a smartphone!

MINETEST ON MOBILE

• Go to the minetest website click on the download button, it should redirect you to a page where you can choose to download either the android or PC.

Best click on this link to download from the Google play store

• Install and open the game, your interface on mobile should look like this

1. Fill in the address with the address code: 178.62.112.50
   And

2. Port code: 30000

3. Fill in a username (preferably hive username) this can help identify you easily and also to redeem your rewards

4. Click on the register button, it should give you a new screen like this

1. Select a simple password

2. Re-enter the same password

3. Click on Register

Now log in to the game server with your username and password, easy as pie!.

MINETEST ON PC

The process is exactly the same as the mobile with slight changes.

Click on the link then scroll down to find your systems spec

• WINDOWS
• macOS
• LINUX

This links will download a zipped file of minetest.
All you need do is,

1. unzip the file

2. locate the bin folders(most likely the first folder)

1. Scroll down and you will find the minetest application.

2. Run the program and use the same method that was stated above for registration on mobile and you're good to go.

Just in case you find any difficulties on this process, you can drop a message in the city discord channel and you will be guided through properly.
