power of green (photo 52)

This week prompt was 'Green', so I remembered about this photo I wanted to share for a proper case. Image taken with Canon 5D, 16-35mm 2.8.
This is a sprout of an unnamed weed grown on (almost abandoned) rope; it was a yachts parking location, a place of steel and concrete, and rust, not a cozy natural corner with species divercity. Look at the amazing power of nature - fragile living creatures triumph over the steel and concrete, they are ultimately stronger.
Это росток безымянного сорняка, выросший на канате. Это был порт, стоянка кораблей, место стали и бетона, и ржавчины, отнюдь не уютный природный уголок. Много вещей, созданных руками человека и брошенных. Удивительная сила природы: хрупкие живые создания торжествуют, они в конечном итоге сильнее, чем сталь и бетон.

No, I don't have any info on that. It does seem activity has dropped way off since the Justin Sun Tron takeover of Steemit. IDK why or what's being done to bring things back up. It could have nothing to do with the takeover and be more to do with the in Steemit community launch.
uh... ok. lets see. till then I will use neoxian city / steampeak / esteem for my posts.. dont plan to leave 8-)

i dont hold my breath for my entry -- it isnt smth 'outstanding green', just something that seemed funny and attractive to me, maybe the !BEER inside of me was taking decisions, not me? but lets see how it will turn out. I have no objections to go to the top xD

Absolutely, finding that weed there is amazing. Life is determined! It can find a way in almost any circumstance.
Hmm i bet you placed a seed there so it could grow for a nice photo lol.
heh. actually, no -- I do visit that place each year, but I swear I did not do the seeds thing -- only photo and travelling things!
