Weekly ish Running Update: Restive Reset!
So I haven't done any running in almost a fortnight!
Thanks to my relatively minor thigh injury, and me being cautious about getting this healed through rest....
So I joined a local gym and have just done some very light cross training and stationary cycling, i'm not confident enough as a swimmer to go for 30 mins which is the time I wanted.
I did last Tuesday and Thursday and then again this Monday, with as you can see plenty rest days in between...

And I've upped my sessions by five mins a time to what is now 40 mins - roughly....
I've focussed mainly in zone 2 and zone 3, which is precisely what I was after, three decent buliding block sessions, basically what I lack when I go running as i'm usually up in zone 4 for the most part, or zone 5...

And you know what... I have THOROUGHLY ENJOYED taking it easy for a couple of weeks! I think TBH I just needed a bit of a restive for a while and I think I may just be coming back stronger for it too!
I've also tried to do a bit of yoga and some push ups as well... just as and when I can!
I think when I'm fully healed I may do running and add on these restive gym sessions some evenings, I like them, well mellow!!!
