Weeklyish Running Update...

What I'd call a standard three runs this last week...

Monday's Slow Run

Headed up and around the streets initially and then entered the Park from the other side and did a lap, just to mix things up a bit, did some strides/ sprints at the end...

Wednesday's Intervals...

No school drop off meant I had my warm up running/ walking up to the track.

I opted for four 1Ks this time around at a pretty decent pace - I did a couple of smaller sprints on the way home, but it was awkward because of the park/ roads being quite busy, should have stayed on the track!

Park Run....

I headed out as usual going easy-ish and my overall time and splits were remarkably similar to last week's - I was quite happy with this as I was feeling a bit knackered, had a couple glasses wine the night before which I defo felt, but this will do, I felt quite pacy in the last half - defo catching up with people rather than the other way around which is what you want.

This wasn't an easy run mind! But Happy enough!

Next week's plans...

I'm in two minds whether the longer KM intervals are working for me....

I don't really feel like I can go much faster than 23.30 at my Park Run, but then again I am now doing that consistently while starting off with it feeling easy.

Maybe I mix it up by doing a few more 400s....?!?

You do get more options where the schools are off as kids just clog up the paths. Do you think you are hitting limits for what you can do? I still hope I can improve a bit, but age may think otherwise. I'm going to do more intervals to see if it helps.
