Pulp of young coconut green beans

Hello Hivers

Young coconut is the easiest thing for me to get here, because I happen to have dozens of coconut sticks of various types, and it's not uncommon for me to process some food from coconut, especially young coconut, and on this occasion, I will share a recipe and how to make it. my own version of porridge, to start with, prepare the following ingredients

MAIN INGREDIENTS

Picsart_23-03-14_19-33-00-437.jpg

  • 100gr of glutinous rice
  • 200gr yam vines
  • 100gr of green beans
  • 1 young coconut
  • 2tablespoons of sago
  • 130ml of coconut milk
  • Two pandan leaves
  • a teaspoon of salt
  • 100gr of granulated sugar

Those are all the ingredients we will need, I forgot to put the sugar in the picture above, sorry for that

I rarely cook porridge, but that doesn't mean I can't, and all the ideas started when I saw lots of young coconuts on the tree, and I also tried to cook porridge for my mother who happened to be sick, a few days ago I was hospitalized. , and now, my mother is sick, even I am having a hard time paying for it at the moment, but that's not what I want to discuss, let's just start the process of cooking this porridge

step 1

Picsart_23-03-14_19-33-17-207.jpgPicsart_23-03-14_19-39-43-761.jpg
Picsart_23-03-14_19-33-25-963.jpgPicsart_23-03-14_19-33-36-799.jpg
Picsart_23-03-14_19-40-24-021.jpgPicsart_23-03-14_19-40-07-022.jpg
Picsart_23-03-14_19-40-39-665.jpgPicsart_23-03-14_19-33-46-812.jpg

Picsart_23-03-14_19-33-56-002.jpg

First, wash the glutinous rice and sago first, as well as the pandan leaves, then put them in a pot and add 500ml of water, and turn on the fire and start cooking these two ingredients first, because it takes quite a long time to make the sago and glutinous rice. it's muddy and that's what makes a lot of people lazy to cook porridge, it takes about 30 minutes to make these two ingredients cooked, and the water used must also be paid attention not so that it doesn't dry out, I even added the water several times, if it's calculated for the measure it can reached 1000ml of water that I used to cook this porridge

step 2

Picsart_23-03-14_19-40-55-206.jpgPicsart_23-03-14_19-34-25-141.jpg

Picsart_23-03-14_19-34-15-481.jpg

While waiting for the two ingredients to be cooked, the next step we take is to clean and cut them, for the size and shape, you can adjust them to your individual tastes, and for the young coconut, just take the meat, for the water you can drink it separately and you can also cooked together with all the ingredients

Up to this step, there are no more ingredients that we need to prepare, and it's just the cooking process

step 3

Picsart_23-03-14_19-34-44-444.jpgPicsart_23-03-14_19-35-04-982.jpg
Picsart_23-03-14_19-34-33-994.jpgPicsart_23-03-14_19-34-55-217.jpg

Furthermore, if the glutinous rice and sago, as well as the green beans have started to expand, then put a teaspoon of salt into the pot, while watching the water, if it's dry then add more water and stir it evenly, so that the ingredients don't burn, and this process takes place about 15 minutes before we put the rest of the ingredients in

step 4

Picsart_23-03-14_19-35-14-336.jpgPicsart_23-03-14_19-35-41-842.jpg
Picsart_23-03-14_19-35-54-265.jpgPicsart_23-03-14_19-36-04-852.jpg
Picsart_23-03-14_19-36-13-548.jpgPicsart_23-03-14_19-36-24-958.jpg

Next, if the sago and glutinous rice are really cooked, then add the yams that we prepared earlier, here I use honey yams which taste sweeter than other yams, and they also cook faster when cooked, it only takes about two minutes to make it cooked, because of that, I deliberately waited until the glutinous rice was fully cooked, then put the sugar in the pan and stir it thoroughly, for the measure I use 100gr of granulated sugar, and for people who like sweet , 100gr of granulated sugar is not enough to cook all of these ingredients, so you can adjust the amount of sugar yourself

Final steps

Lastly, put the coconut milk into the pot, and follow it with the young coconut meat, stir for a while until everything is thoroughly mixed until it looks like the last picture, and up here all the steps have been completed, just serve it, and don't pay attention to my messy kitchen , it's still under construction, but I'm postponing it for now, because I need money to take care of my mother, just pay attention to the final result

FINAL RESULT

This is the end result of my creation, I only use minimal ingredients, and for the taste you will know when you try it later, the sweet taste of the yams and coconut will really be felt, plus the green beans which are rich in vitamins of course very beneficial for health, enjoyed while it's still hot like this will make anyone addicted, and most importantly my mother likes my cooking, she said you are great, hearing that statement I was really very happy

The pink color that appears on this porridge is a natural color produced from the sago and yams that I use, and this porridge can also be enjoyed in a cold version, you can add some ice cubes to it, you can even add a little strawberry syrup which will makes this porridge even more delicious, and can be enjoyed whenever you want, either for breakfast or for dessert

For now, that's all I can share, I hope you guys like it and see you soon

Thank you 🙏
