Famed rock band Kiss has reached an agreement to sell its catalogue, songs, name and likeness rights, trademarks other intellectual property rights to Pophouse Entertainment, a private entertainment company based in Stockholm, Sweden, for more than $300 million. Pophouse Entertainment is a privately held entertainment company based in Stockholm, Sweden, that creates, acquires and develops brands in a variety of related fields, including music, podcasting, stage performance and gaming. Additionally, before this acquisition, Pophouse Entertainment was already developing a KISS avatar band.

Johan Lagerlöf, head of investment at Pophouse Entertainment, underlined "the band’s vision to become immortal". At the end of the video it says 50 years is just the beginning.

Even though the numbers seem huge, I think companies are making good investments for the future and will probably earn billions of dollars in the future with such property rights they purchased for millions of dollars. Technology is developing and artificial intelligence is becoming widespread, and undoubtedly, in the future, technology will develop more and artificial intelligence will become more widespread, and those who have property rights to artists who are world famous and have millions of fans will be able to earn billions of dollars. It is really a very smart move to buy the catalog, songs, name and likeness rights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights of a world-famous band like KISS. I have no doubt that there will be more similar acquisitions in the future.

KISS was founded in 1973 by lead singers Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, and during their 1970s heyday produced hits such as Rock and Roll All Nite and God of Thunder. Additionally, KISS has sold nearly 100 million records in the last 50 years. KISS has become one of the most well-known and iconic bands in music history, and they have redefined the concept of Rock shows and brought their artistry to many parts of the world. They have also always managed to attract a new generation of fans.
